Towel dry your hair. Using a blow dryer and flat brush, slowly brush the hair from the root toward the end while drying, being sure to follow the brush with the hair dryer as you do. After blow drying, apply a thermal protectant. Use straightening iron on individual sections of hair, running the straightening iron from root to tip. Finish your look with hairspray for all-day hold.
Towel dry your hair. Apply a volumizing product, like a mousse. Dry hair completely, lifting hair at the roots to create volume (or flipping hair over and blow drying upside down). Once hair is dry, apply a thermal protectant. Separate a small section of your hair. Starting midway down the section, wrap hair around a large-barreled curling iron. Continue to do this, section by section, until you have curled all of your hair. Gently comb through curls with fingers or a brush. Finish with hairspray for hold.
Towel dry your hair. Apply a moisturizing product, like Solutions Glossing Multi-Task Cream. Using a comb attachment and high heat setting on your hair dryer, dry your hair from scalp to ends in small sections until it is completely dry. Gently brush your hair and smooth out any flyaways with some of the same moisturizing product used before drying.
What to tell your stylist
Love this haircut? Here's what to tell your stylist so you can get this look.
I’d like a shoulder-length bob. I’d like the bottom of the hair to be even all the way around.”
Be sure to tell your stylist if you part your hair on a particular side. Unsure of how short you want to go? Ask your stylist what length will work best for your hair! Bangs or face-framing are great options, too!
